Our Ankeny plant was added to our Ready-mix family in January of 2017 through an acquisition with the Rasmussen group, expanding our presence in northern Polk County. Since joining our operations, the facility has been significantly revamped to meet modern environmental standards and support greater production capacity. Upgrades include enhanced material storage, plant automation/cloud batch upgrades, and improvements for regulatory environmental compliance. The Ankeny plant also serves as a recycling hub offering customers access to recycled concrete products and providing a convenient dumping location for clean broken concrete. These efforts reflect our long-term commitment to sustainability, innovation, and efficient service.
